Description
For listeners who value transparency and spatial accuracy, the Audio-Technica ATH-ADX3000 delivers an open-air listening experience rooted in the brand's flagship ADX lineage. Built around 58 mm integrated driver units employing Core Mount Technology, the headphones fuse the diaphragm, voice coil, baffle, and magnet into a single assembly — a design that channels airflow directly through the driver for reduced distortion and a more natural tonal balance.
The tungsten-coated diaphragm adds rigidity for faster transient response, while the honeycomb-punched housing suppresses unwanted side-ventilation pressure. A magnesium alloy frame keeps the package to 257 g without cable, and replaceable velour earpads ensure long sessions stay comfortable.
Hand-assembled at Audio-Technica's Machida, Tokyo facility from in-house components, each pair undergoes rigorous testing before leaving the factory. The included 3.0 m detachable cable terminates in a 6.3 mm gold-plated plug via proprietary A2DC connectors, and a hard shell carrying case rounds out the package.
