Dual ESS ES9069Q DAC chips on the fourth-generation 32-bit HyperStream architecture pair with the THX AAA 78+ four-channel fully balanced amplifier to deliver up to 650mW per channel on the 4.4mm balanced output when Desktop Mode is engaged. In portable mode, the built-in battery still provides over eight hours of playback. Qualcomm's QCC5181 chip handles Bluetooth 5.4 with LDAC, aptX Lossless, aptX Adaptive 96kHz/24-bit, aptX HD, aptX, AAC, and SBC — plus the Bluetooth LE Audio standard. Wired USB DAC playback reaches 768kHz/32-bit with native DSD512 and full MQA decoding via the XMOS 16-core XU316 chip.
