Description
For listeners who refuse to compromise between portability and audiophile-grade sound, the Focal Bathys MG brings the same pure magnesium driver technology found in Focal's flagship Clear MG headphones into a wireless, active-noise-cancelling package. Crafted in France, the 40 mm M-shaped magnesium dome delivers exceptional transient response and a neutral, detailed signature that reviewers consistently praise for its midrange clarity and refined treble.
Three ANC modes—Silent, Soft, and Transparent—let you dial in isolation from a noisy commute to an office environment, while eight microphones keep voice calls crisp. USB-DAC mode unlocks up to 24-bit/192 kHz resolution over a USB-C connection, and Bluetooth 5.2 Multipoint handles SBC, AAC, and Qualcomm's aptX™ Adaptive for high-bandwidth wireless playback.
All-day endurance comes from a lithium-ion cell offering roughly 30 hours with ANC enabled, extending to 42 hours in USB-DAC mode, with quick charge delivering five hours of listening from a fifteen-minute session. Genuine leather earpads with ergonomic foam cushioning, along with an aluminum-magnesium chassis, keep the 350 g headphones comfortable through long sessions. The Focal & Naim app adds a Mimi hearing test for personalized sound tuning.
