Polk Legend L800 Speaker – SDA Pro Imaging | Demo

The Polk Audio Legend L800 is engineered for listeners who demand stereo imaging that dissolves the boundary between the speakers and the music. Its SDA-Pro technology minimizes interaural crosstalk by employing a second column of transducers — the Dimensional Array — so each ear hears only its intended channel, producing a three-dimensional soundstage that reviewers at Audioholics describe as among the finest they've encountered at any price.

Built on a 48.6-inch tower with a 118-pound cabinet, the L800 pairs dual 1" Pinnacle Ring Radiator tweeters and 5.25" Turbine Cone midrange drivers with dual 10" mid/woofers in a Power Port bass-vented enclosure. The result is a frequency response extending to 24 Hz and a neutral tonality that renders both music and film with startling realism. The angled baffles incorporate a patented Head Shadow Filter that accounts for the listener's head and face, further refining the dimensional array.

Each tower ships with a removable anti-diffraction magnetic grille, an SDA interconnect cable, carpet spikes, and rubber feet. An optional L900 height module can be installed for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X height channels.
