The Yamaha R-S202 is a Natural Sound stereo receiver built for everyday hi-fi listening at home. Bluetooth (SBC/AAC) lets you stream music wirelessly from your smartphone or other devices to your speaker system, while the AM/FM tuner stores up to 40 preset stations — auto preset automatically searches for and registers FM stations — all controllable from the receiver or its simple remote layout. Two channels of high-power output — 140 W + 140 W maximum (8 ohms, 1 kHz, 10% THD) with a 0.2% THD design — drive your speakers through a circuit layout Yamaha optimized for short signal routes and a high signal-to-noise ratio (100 dB for CD). Terminals for two speaker systems with an A/B/A+B selector make it easy to switch between two pairs of speakers or drive both (A+B), and a front headphone terminal allows private listening. Yamaha's auto-standby power management (selectable 2/4/8/12 hours) and 0.5 W standby consumption keep energy use low, and the elegant brushed aluminum front panel harmonizes with other audio equipment.
