Description
The Audeze MM-100 is an open-back planar magnetic headphone engineered for studio professionals and critical listeners who demand production-grade accuracy without a premium price tag. Developed in collaboration with Grammy Award-winning engineer Manny Marroquin, it brings flagship Audeze driver technology into an accessible package built for long mixing sessions.
Each ear houses a 90 mm planar magnetic driver powered by a Fluxor™ magnet array and an Ultra-Thin Uniforce™ diaphragm, with Fazor™ waveguides managing phase coherence across the frequency range. The result is ultra-low distortion (<0.1% THD) and a 20 Hz–25 kHz response that reveals detail without fatigue. At 18 Ω and 98 dB sensitivity, the MM-100 drives easily from desktop amplifiers, portable DACs, or console outputs.
The chassis pairs magnesium yokes and grilles with a spring-steel headband, weighing 475 g for all-day wear. Gel-filled earpads and a single-sided cable connection keep studio workflows tidy, while the included soft gig bag makes road-ready transport simple. Every unit is hand-assembled and tested in Audeze's Southern California workshop.
