Engineered in Audeze's California workshop, the LCD-S20 pairs planar magnetic technology with the company's patent-pending SLAM™ (Symmetric Linear Acoustic Modulator) system, which uses precisely tuned acoustic channels to extend bass response down to 10 Hz while maintaining diaphragm tension and reducing distortion. Uniforce™ and Fluxor™ technologies work together to deliver uniform driving force across the entire diaphragm, producing clean, deep bass that stays controlled even at high volumes. The closed-back acoustic structure with cloth-covered, acoustically dampened earcups provides bidirectional passive noise reduction that blocks external sound and prevents microphone bleed — essential for tracking sessions. Premium magnesium, aluminum, and steel construction, an adjustable leather suspension headband, and gel-filled magnetically attached earpads combine for extended comfort during long mixing sessions.
