The Audeze LCD-MX4 is an open-back planar magnetic headphone built for mixing and mastering engineers who need to hear every critical detail in a mix. Audeze pairs its Double Fluxor™ magnet array with the ultra-thin Uniforce™ diaphragm and Fazor phase management in a 106 mm planar driver, delivering precise, accurately controlled bass with remarkably low distortion (under 0.1% @ 100 dB).
A magnesium and carbon fiber chassis keeps the weight at 600 g for comfort over long sessions, while the 10 Hz – 50 kHz frequency response and >130 dB maximum SPL provide headroom for critical listening. With 20-ohm impedance and 105 dB/1mW sensitivity, it is Audeze's most sensitive LCD headphone, so it needs relatively little power to reach listening level. Audeze's Reveal+ plugin can also be paired with the LCD-MX4 to create an AI-generated map of your own hearing for consistent monitoring anywhere.
Each headphone ships with a 1.9 m 1/4" to dual 4-pin mini-XLR cable, a professional travel case, user guide and warranty card.
