Description
The FiiO QX13 is a portable USB DAC and headphone amplifier built for listeners who want desktop-class power in a pocketable dongle. A slide switch engages Desktop Mode, where the balanced output delivers up to 900mW+900mW into 32 ohms — headroom for demanding headphones — while 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm headphone/coaxial outputs cover versatile connections.
At its core sits FiiO's desktop-grade ESS SABRE PRO ES9027SPRO DAC in a fully differential 8-channel parallel design, fed by an XMOS 16-core XU316 handling up to 768kHz/32bit PCM, native DSD512 and full MQA decoding. Four INA1620 amplifier chips with a shielded, digitally/analog-separated layout keep crosstalk low, and dual femtosecond crystal oscillators time each sampling rate accurately.
The 1.99-inch color display shows format, sampling rate, gain and power draw at a glance, rotating for portrait or landscape use. A 10-band PEQ with 8 presets and custom profiles, tunable via the FiiO Control app or web, lets you shape the sound. The magnetic leather case and 8-strand decoding cable simplify pairing with your source, at just 33.7g.
