Description
The Yamaha TT-S303 is a belt-drive turntable built for playing 33-1/3 and 45 rpm vinyl through a home Hi-Fi system, pairing Yamaha's Hi-Fi heritage with a piano black finish that suits modern audio setups. Its built-in phono EQ amplifier gives you a choice at connection time: switch to line output to plug into an amplifier that lacks a phono input, or into powered speakers, or select phono output mode to use the phono input of a conventional amplifier — all through a single RCA output terminal. A static balanced straight tonearm with adjustable stylus pressure (0–4 g range) supports accurate tracking, and the included MM cartridge comes pre-mounted on the headshell. The aluminium die-cast 30 cm platter is belt-driven by a DC motor for stable rotation, while the rigid cabinet is engineered with large internal loss to suppress unwanted vibration. Yamaha also specifies an external DC power supply that cuts electronic interference. Measuring 17-3/4" wide and weighing 10.6 lbs., the TT-S303 is a compact, plug-and-play centerpiece for vinyl listening.
