The Astell & Kern A&norma SR35 is a pocket Hi-Fi player for listeners who want flagship-grade sound without the flagship price tag. At 184 g with a 3.6-inch touchscreen, it slips into a pocket or bag while delivering up to 20 hours of uninterrupted playback. Under the hood, four Cirrus Logic CS43198 chips run in Quad-DAC mode, feeding Astell & Kern's New Generation AMP circuitry — the same amplifier architecture found in the brand's premium A&ultima line — to produce a balanced signal with a 130 dB signal-to-noise ratio. TERATON ALPHA, the brand's proprietary sound solution, keeps dynamics tight and noise low across every listening session. A two-step gain switch (Normal and High) lets the SR35 drive everything from sensitive in-ear monitors to demanding over-ear headphones, with up to 6 Vrms available on the 4.4 mm balanced output. The Crimson-themed user interface, Roon Ready certification, full MQA 8× decoding, and dual-band Wi-Fi round out a package.This demo unit is fully-tested and all functions operational.
