Description
The FiiO M23 is a portable Hi-Res lossless music player built around a flagship AKM DAC combo — the AK4191EQ and AK4499EX, whose digitally/analog-separated design with DWA ROUTING Technology supports a low noise floor — paired with a 4-way THX AAA 78+ amp and a Snapdragon 660 SoC running Android.
Two Type-C ports set the M23 apart. The dedicated POWER IN port enables Super High Gain Mode, where the balanced output reaches up to 1000mW+1000mW at 32Ω — ample drive for demanding headphones. In that mode the second port stays free for data, so the M23 can also serve as a USB DAC.
Playback options are broad: 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone/line outputs (coaxial shared on the 3.5mm jack), Bluetooth 5.0 with LDAC/LHDC transmission, AirPlay, Roon Ready, and MQA full decoding. Local and USB DAC playback handle up to 384kHz-32bit/DSD256; USB Audio up to 768kHz-32bit/DSD512.
The 5.5-inch bezel-less touchscreen, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage plus 2TB microSD expansion, and a 10-band EQ with PEQ make daily use and library management convenient, while the 5500mAh battery and up-to-30W dual-mode fast charging keep sessions going.
